Human hearts are like soap -- slippery and hard to hold. We fall in love when we let our guard down, then crash in the blink of an eye. We can't control it, so we learn to pretend. At work, in marriage, in everything.
We don't have a plan. We just try to get through each day, because tomorrow starts all over again.
Everyone is anxious. Everyone is pretending. The question is whether we can be honest about it -- with others and with ourselves.
We're all just trying to get through the day.
